Assuming that the trademark application is relatively trouble free (ie. not opposed by a third party), the cost of securing a trademark registration in Canada including our fees, government fees, and all disbursements will be approximately $1750 CDN. Of this, $750 will be incurred at the beginning upon filing of the application, and the balance over the next 18-24 months as the trademark application proceeds to registration.

This estimate does not include any searches, which we generally recommend before you invest substantial time and money in a trademark, or packaging and marketing materials.
